On November 29, Chairman of the Da Teh District Labor Federation - Mr. Truong Quang Lang said that the unit has just summarized and evaluated union activities in 2024.
“We have reached the finish line early, exceeding the targets and tasks assigned by the Provincial Federation of Labor for 2024. This is also a condition to be ready to merge and establish a new district union in December,” Mr. Truong Quang Lang shared.
Da Teh District Labor Federation has exceeded 19/19 assigned targets in 2024. The unit also organized many practical activities to care for union members, workers and build the union organization.
The District Labor Federation and grassroots unions promptly visited and gave gifts to encourage union members and workers facing difficulties and serious illnesses. The unit also disbursed VND570 million to 29 union members in difficult circumstances to borrow from the Poor Workers' Capital Support Fund.
The Union organized a sports festival during the Workers' Month and a volleyball tournament to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union. These activities attracted a large number of union members and workers to respond and participate, creating an exciting atmosphere.
The District Labor Federation has stepped up propaganda, developed union members and established grassroots unions. The unit has mobilized more than 100 workers to join the Vietnam Labor Union. At the same time, it has mobilized the establishment of the Da Teh Transport Union with 25 union members who are service vehicle drivers in the district.
Along with that, grassroots unions also do a good job of introducing outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission. In 2024, 83 outstanding union members were introduced to attend the Party awareness training course. Of these, 30 union members were admitted to the Party...
Mr. Truong Quang Lang added that the patriotic emulation movements were also practically and effectively implemented by the trade union here. Cadres, union members and workers actively responded and participated in "creative labor" to increase labor productivity.
The Trade Union launched a campaign to build "green - clean - beautiful", safe, civilized and friendly" agencies, units and enterprises. Organized a contest "Polite, civilized, friendly, professional and modern one-stop shop"...
“In 2024, 2 Chairmen of the grassroots trade unions were recognized by the Provincial Federation of Labor as exemplary trade union officials. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded a certificate of creative labor to 1 union member. The Provincial Federation of Labor awarded certificates of merit to 6 groups and 7 individuals,” Mr. Truong Quang Lang shared.
