On January 6, Mr. Nguyen Hoa - Chairman of the Trade Union of Tuy Phong Garment Enterprise, in Lien Huong commune, Lam Dong province - said that the unit currently has more than 2,100 employees. Of which, over 82% are women.
Therefore, trade union activities are always oriented towards caring for female workers and their children. This activity aims to help women both complete their tasks well at the factory and take care of their families," Mr. Nguyen Hoa shared.
According to Mr. Hoa, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Tuy Phong Garment Enterprise is regularly closely monitoring and grasping the thoughts and aspirations of female workers. From there, promptly reflect and coordinate with the Enterprise's Board of Directors to ensure legitimate rights and interests, and take better care of union members.
Notably, in the period 2023-2025, the trade union gave gifts on March 8, organized birthdays for more than 6,000 female union members and workers.
When union members are sick, families have joyful events, the trade union visits them in a timely manner. Cases of dangerous diseases and affected by natural disasters are also launched to contribute additional support.
During this period, the Trade Union of Tuy Phong Garment Enterprise also mobilized social resources to build 4 "Trade Union Homes" for female workers; organized for women to visit and travel to Da Lat; maintained the "Family Day" program during the Lunar New Year every year with many meaningful exchange and award activities.
For children of union members, the trade union organizes Tet gifts for Children on June 1st, Mid-Autumn Festival, awards scholarships to students in difficult circumstances and rewards students with good academic achievements. The total mobilization and spending for activities reached more than 5 billion VND.
