On the morning of October 5, the Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong Province) held a launching ceremony for the model "Trade unions participating in protecting the clean environment in residential areas" for the period 2025 - 2030.
The model aims to mobilize union members and people to raise awareness and change environmental protection behavior right from their families and workplaces.
The content focuses on collecting and classifying waste at source, dumping waste in the right place, not discharging wastewater, planting trees in residential areas and roads.

Ms. Le Huynh Thi Hoa Phuong - Chairwoman of Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union - said that a bright - green - clean - beautiful environment is the desire of all people.
Therefore, the trade union has built and implemented this model to connect union members with the community, together building a civilized and sustainable residential area.
At the ceremony, 5 grassroots trade unions introduced the Model Executive Board. At the same time, 16 neighborhoods and 19 grassroots unions signed to participate in the response. Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union also presented 20 trash bins placed in public and densely populated areas.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor - assessed that this is a practical and creative model, contributing to concretizing the role of trade unions in environmental protection and urban landscape construction.
The model can become a model for localities to refer to and replicate.

In the period of 2025 - 2030, the Provincial Federation of Labor has identified environmental protection and building a clean living space as important tasks, associated with the emulation movement for good workers and creative workers.
On this occasion, Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union mobilized businesses to give 54 gifts to workers and disadvantaged households. After the launching ceremony, the neighborhoods have implemented general environmental sanitation in residential areas.
