On July 31, Mr. Nguyen Van Duy - Chairman of the Trade Union of Saigon - Da Lat Eye Hospital Joint Stock Company said that the unit had just organized a "Union Meal" according to the instructions of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation.
"Union Meal" was held in an intimate atmosphere with the participation of leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation, company leaders, union members and workers. All 53 union members and workers in this unit attended in large numbers.
Here, the unit organized a review of the tradition of the workers' movement, the Vietnam Trade Union and organized an intimate meal to thank the workers.
Mr. Duy said: "This Trade Union Meal" each meal costs more than 260,000 VND, mainly from support from employers.
We discuss and mobilize the companys leaders to support the organization of Union Meals in a timely manner to encourage workers on the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union. Through this, workers are more connected with the trade union organization and the company, Mr. Nguyen Van Duy shared.
Vice President of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - Ms. Pham Thi Le Dung informed that the unit directed and guided grassroots unions to organize "Union Meals".
Many grassroots unions have organized "Union Meals". Through this activity, the union takes better care of union members and workers.
This is a practical activity of Lam Dong Provincial Trade Unions at all levels to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), said Ms. Pham Thi Le Dung.
