On January 3, information from the Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor said that the unit had just held an executive committee conference to summarize union activities in 2024.
The unit also set out directions and tasks for trade union activities in 2025 with many practical contents. Accordingly, the unit has implemented and exceeded most of the targets assigned by the General Confederation of Labor in 2024.
Trade unions at all levels actively mobilize union members and workers to participate in social activities; contribute to funds for the poor, gratitude, and natural disaster prevention, with an amount of billions of dong.
Propaganda and mobilization work for union members and workers is increasingly diversified with flexible forms, suitable to the actual conditions of each type of facility.
Along with that, the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions is identified as a key, continuous task and is implemented resolutely and synchronously.
The unit has newly established 48 grassroots unions and admitted 5,816 workers into the union organization.
Emulation movements and campaigns continue to receive attention, creating a spread, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate. There have been 14 new product projects recognized with a signboard with a value of more than 1.4 billion VND.

In 2025, the unit has strengthened its representative function, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees. Along with that, it has focused on developing union members and establishing trade unions in non-state enterprises.

On this occasion, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation elected 1 additional member of the Executive Committee and 1 member of the Standing Committee for the 2023-2028 term.
The unit also awarded emulation flags to direct superior trade unions and grassroots trade unions with outstanding achievements, leading the trade union emulation clusters in 2024.
