On April 23, a delegation from the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) visited and worked at Viet Trung Mineral and Metallurgy Co., Ltd.
At the working session at Tang Loong Industrial Park, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem acknowledged the coordination of the Economic Zone Management Board, Party committees, local authorities and businesses in creating conditions for trade union organizations to operate.

Accordingly, after Lao Cai and Yen Bai merged from July 1, 2025, the provincial trade union organization was streamlined, currently directly managing 520 grassroots trade unions with more than 42,000 union members.
Viet Trung Mineral and Metallurgy Co., Ltd. currently creates jobs for more than 1,000 workers, with an average income of about 11.5 million VND/person/month.
From May 2025, businesses have restored production, helping workers stabilize their jobs and psychology.

Within the framework of the working session, the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation proposed to transfer the Company's Trade Union to be directly under the Provincial Labor Federation for management, in order to increase proactiveness in direction and improve coordination efficiency. Thereby, promptly resolve workers' petitions, and at the same time create conditions to quickly access care programs.
In the context of many difficulties, maintaining production, ensuring jobs and income for workers is a very commendable effort," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem.

Also at the working session, the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation presented 20 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances at enterprises.
On the company's side, business leaders said that production recovery has helped workers feel secure and return to work.
Businesses wish to continue to receive support from levels, sectors and trade union organizations to remove obstacles and stabilize long-term production.

In the coming time, the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation will continue to implement a program to support health check-up packages for union members and workers at enterprises with a total value of nearly 1.5 billion VND, thereby contributing to better care for the material, spiritual and health life of workers.
The Provincial Labor Federation sets a goal to complete procedures related to the transfer of the trade union organization before May 15, 2026, and at the same time continue to coordinate with units to ensure stable and effective trade union activities in enterprises.
