According to the plan, the Dong Pho Moi Industrial Park area will be within the scope of the Lao Cai New Station Project on the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line. When the project is implemented, many businesses operating stably in this industrial park will have to relocate to another location.
According to reporters' records on March 10, production activities at the factories are still taking place normally.

Traphaco Sa Pa One Member Limited Liability Company is one of the enterprises subject to relocation. This enterprise has been operating in Dong Pho Moi Industrial Park since 2015, each year purchasing about 2,000 tons of medicinal herbs from Lao Cai people to serve production.
Mr. Do Tien Sy - Director of Traphaco Sa Pa Co., Ltd. said that the enterprise agrees with the policy of relocation to serve the railway project, and considers this an opportunity to open up new development directions.
The formation of a standard railway line will create development momentum for the whole region, opening up international connection opportunities. Businesses are ready to adapt to this change," Mr. Sy shared.

Although agreeing with the general policy, many businesses believe that the relocation of factories will certainly affect production activities and the lives of workers.
It is known that Babeeni Vietnam Co., Ltd., Lao Cai Branch is currently creating jobs for about 400 workers, mostly female workers. The employer hopes that the province will have a plan to make the enterprise's production less affected.

Mr. Trinh Nguyen Phuong - Director of Babeeni Vietnam Co., Ltd., Lao Cai Branch said that the business hopes that functional agencies will have a flexible mechanism to shorten the preparation time for new locations.
If the planning process is prolonged, it will affect the business's production plan. We hope to be facilitated to soon stabilize in the new place," Mr. Phuong said.

Before the workers' concerns, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Lao Cai province, base 2, proactively coordinated with businesses to grasp the living situation and thoughts of workers.
The trade union organization also promotes propaganda to help workers understand the province's infrastructure development policy, thereby being assured to work.

According to Mr. Hoang Tuan Hai - Deputy Head of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Lao Cai province, base 2, timely information helps workers stabilize their psychology and avoid anxiety about changes during factory relocation.
In parallel with that, land plots in Bat Xat commune are gradually being formed, creating a clean land fund to arrange new production locations for businesses to move in.

Mr. Vuong Trinh Quoc - Head of the Economic Zone Management Board of Lao Cai province said that functional agencies are reviewing and proposing suitable locations to soon arrange land, ensuring favorable infrastructure conditions for businesses to continue operating.
While waiting for detailed planning, businesses in Dong Pho Moi Industrial Park still maintain stable production, and at the same time coordinate with trade union organizations and functional agencies to prepare for the relocation roadmap in the near future.
