On the morning of August 21, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation organized a training class, professional development and experience learning for commune and ward trade union officials.
Attending were Mr. Doan Duc Han - Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation; along with trade union officials of communes and wards and officials and specialists of the Trade Union Affairs Committee.
Speaking at the training class, Mr. Kha Van Tam said that the requirements for grassroots trade union officials are increasingly high, especially in the context of implementing Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on innovating the organization and operation of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation.

According to the Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation, commune and ward trade union officials not only need to master professional skills but also must proactively innovate thinking, apply digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to propaganda, management and organization of activities.
After arranging the organizational structure, commune and ward trade unions have gradually stabilized their operations, maintained their representative role, cared for and protected the rights of union members and workers. However, reality still raises many requirements in developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions, implementing labor laws, and caring for and protecting the rights of workers.

The training program focuses on 3 main content groups including: knowledge about collective labor agreements and employee conferences; development and management of union members, establishment of grassroots trade unions and new points of the Vietnam Trade Union Charter; AI application skills in propaganda and professional activities.
Through the training class, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation aims to improve practical skills, situation grasping capacity, organization of activities and application of technology for the team of commune and ward trade union officials, thereby improving the effectiveness of representing, caring for, and protecting the rights of union members and workers from the grassroots level.
