According to Mr. Nguyen To Long, the Traditional Sports Tournament of the Southeast Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of Nghe An province has become an annual activity, a playground that is widely responded to by workers and businesses.
The greatest value of the tournament is not only the win-lose result or medals, but the spirit of solidarity, exchange, learning and cohesion between workers and businesses," Mr. Nguyen To Long emphasized.

According to the Organizing Committee, through the tournament, the sports movement among workers and laborers continues to spread, contributing to improving health, building a healthy cultural life and promoting harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
Mr. Nguyen To Long requested businesses and grassroots trade unions to continue to pay more attention to the material and spiritual life of workers; maintain and develop cultural, artistic, and sports movements so that workers "not only work well, but also live healthy, happily and be attached to the business for a long time".

He also expressed his expectation that the 2027 Traditional Sports Festival will continue to be organized on a larger scale, with higher quality, attracting more businesses and workers to participate.
The 2026 sports tournament is also an activity to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, towards the 19th anniversary of the establishment of the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone of Nghe An.
