170 female environmental workers in Quang Ninh receive free health check-ups

    Quang Ninh - On August 28, Ha Tu Ward Trade Union coordinated to organize the "Day for Workers' Health" program in 2026.

    The program is for 170 female officials, union members, and employees of Quang Ninh Urban Environment Investment and Development Joint Stock Company.

    Attending the program were leaders of the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of coordinating units, Ha Tu Ward Trade Union and business leaders.

    The program is organized by Ha Tu Ward Trade Union in coordination with the Family Planning Association, Family Planning and Reproductive Health Care Service Consulting Center of Quang Ninh province.

    At the program, female union members and workers were examined, consulted, screened for gynecological diseases, provided with reproductive health care and free medicine by specialist doctors.

    Workers are also provided with knowledge about breast cancer, cervical cancer and some common diseases in women.

    The activity is organized according to the plan of the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation on deploying the "Day for Workers' Health" in 2026.

    The program contributes to taking care of the health of female union members and workers, and at the same time strengthens coordination between trade union organizations, businesses and specialized units in caring for workers' lives.
