On April 4, the Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) of Nghe An province said that the unit had just had a working session with the Trade Union of Quy Hop commune to assess the operating results and orient tasks for the coming time.
Currently, Quy Hop Commune Trade Union manages 29 grassroots trade unions with 3,708 union members. Over the past time, trade union activities have gradually become disciplined, closely following the political tasks of the locality. The work of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers has been focused on. Emulation movements have been practically implemented, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of union members.
At the working session, delegates exchanged and clarified the difficulties and obstacles in grassroots trade union activities, especially the work of developing union members, improving the quality of activities and building strong trade union organizations.
Concluding the working session, Mr. Kha Van Tam, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, acknowledged and highly appreciated the concern and creation of conditions by the Commune Party Committee for trade union activities, and praised the efforts of the Quy Hop Commune Trade Union in the past time.
In the coming time, the Provincial Labor Federation requests the Commune Trade Union to continue to stick to the grassroots level, innovate the content and methods of operation; promote care and protection of workers' rights; promote the representative role of the trade union organization. At the same time, proactively grasp the business situation, promptly resolve workers' petitions, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization.
