On April 23, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that it had just coordinated with the Nghia Dan Commune Trade Union and the grassroots Trade Union of Thang Nam Forestry Joint Stock Company to organize communication about women's labor policy and gender equality.
The program attracts female union members and workers from 15 grassroots trade unions in the area to participate.
At the communication session, union members and workers were informed about legal regulations, rights and obligations of female workers and contents on gender equality. The program also provided information on maternity regimes, reproductive health care and prevention and control of harassment in the workplace.
The activity contributes to raising awareness, equipping knowledge and skills for female union members and workers to protect their legitimate rights, towards a safe, equal and progressive working environment.
