On December 12, the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor said that in 2024, it had organized practical activities to take care of the material and spiritual lives of female union members and workers.
This helps to grasp the thoughts, aspirations, lives and work of female union members and workers; strengthen coordination, participate in inspection and supervision of the implementation of policies and regimes directly related to the lives and work of female union members and workers.
The Provincial Labor Federation continues to promote the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" associated with the movement "Building Quang Binh women of the new era".
Trade unions at all levels organized many practical activities to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day on March 8 and respond to "Ao Dai Week" in 2024, the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union on October 20, such as organizing competitions, performances, cultural and sports exchanges.
At the same time, visit and give gifts to female union members and workers in difficult circumstances; donate Ao Dai to female workers. Direct the Labor Federations of districts, towns and cities to coordinate with the Women's Unions at the same level to implement the 2024 coordination program, ensuring that the coordination content is suitable to the practical situation in the locality; coordinate to organize specific activities for female cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the area.
Implementing the program "Godmother - connecting love", trade unions at all levels in the province have supported, cared for and raised 430 orphans with a total amount of over 3.5 billion VND.
Coordinate with the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund to select and award 20 scholarships to children of workers in difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to study well, each worth 1 million VND on the occasion of the new school year opening, with a total support amount of 20 million VND.
