Just in time shipment
Since the evening of October 27, the water level has risen so quickly that people in the flooded areas of Le Thuy district have not had time to react. By October 30, although the water level has been decreasing rapidly, many areas are still deeply flooded. The means of transport at that time were only motorboats, canoes, personal boats... the army, frontline cadres, and the district Red Cross coordinated to divide the goods into the flooded areas for people, union members, and workers.
The image that moved many people was that each house only took enough to use when the force approached.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Chairman of the Quang Trach District Labor Federation, shared: "The total value of this shipment is 40 million VND. We hope that during the rainy and flood days, we can contribute to helping people overcome difficulties."
