On December 26, Ha Quang Garment Factory (Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province) celebrated its 20th anniversary. From 300 workers in the first class in 2004, to date, nearly 1,000 workers have attended the factory.
In particular, the enterprise currently has 64 married couples working together, demonstrating a stable and long-term working environment. With stable income and good welfare, more and more workers choose to work in Ha Quang.
In terms of revenue, in 2005, Ha Quang Garment Enterprise increased from 5.5 billion VND to 144 billion VND in 2023, 26 times higher.
From 660,000 products/year when first established, up to now, the factory has produced more than 3 million products/year, an increase of 4.6 times.
Workers' income increased from less than 1 million VND/person/month in the first years of establishment to 7.3 million VND/person/month (2023) and 8.4 million VND/person/month (2024), significantly improving the quality of workers' lives.
Vice Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee Phan Phong Phu said that after 20 years of establishment and development, Ha Quang Garment Enterprise has become one of the pioneers in caring for the lives of workers and laborers. The enterprise has recorded remarkable growth in production thanks to strong investment in modern equipment to increase labor productivity, especially strong investment in green transformation.
This improvement not only helps the enterprise meet large orders but also creates many new job opportunities. Thereby, improving production efficiency and competitiveness, contributing positively to the economic growth of the province.
