On December 26, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor (DLF) held the 4th Provincial Federation of Labor Executive Committee Conference (term XI), term 2023 - 2028, summarizing union activities in 2024. Attending the conference were Mr. Tran Hoang Vu - Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission.
In 2024, with the 2024 theme of activities being "Focusing on bringing the Resolution of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels into life; competing to achieve achievements to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union", trade unions at all levels and union members and workers (VTU) in the province have united, made efforts, and been creative in implementing trade union activities, achieving and exceeding 19/19 assigned targets.
Notably, trade unions at all levels organized the study, dissemination and extensive implementation of the Resolution of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels and the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2023-2028, with 65,268 officials and workers attending.
Activities to care for Vietnamese workers continue to be promoted by trade unions at all levels in the province, especially during the Lunar New Year and Workers' Month in 2024, the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union, with 147,116 Vietnamese workers receiving benefits, with a total amount of more than 88.27 billion VND.
Many activities bearing the mark of the Trade Union celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union such as: Meeting of full-time trade union officials through the periods; Units and enterprises organizing "Trade Union Meals"; Contributing to support local people affected by storms; "Trade Union Shelter" program;...
Trade unions at all levels focused on developing members, establishing grassroots trade unions and trade unions, and recruiting 12,961 new members, bringing the total number of members to 92,642, with 1,384 grassroots trade unions and trade unions.
On this occasion, 3 full-time union officials received the "Medal" for the cause of building the union organization, 6 individuals received the Creative Labor Certificate, 1 collective received the Emulation Flag, 22 collectives and individuals received the Comprehensive and thematic Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 10 collectives received the Emulation Flag, 32 collectives and individuals received the Comprehensive and thematic Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Federation of Labor.
