On November 1, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor (FLD) coordinated with the Quang Tri Provincial Business Association to organize a conference to sign a collective labor agreement for a group of enterprises in Quang Tri province.
Two years ago, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Quang Tri Provincial Business Association to implement the negotiation process and organize the signing of two collective labor agreements for groups of enterprises in the province, including a group of enterprises processing, trading, importing and exporting wood and a group of enterprises producing and trading construction materials.
Up to now, the implementation of collective labor agreements of business groups has received high support from union members, employees and consensus, attention and facilitation from employers.
There have been 986 union members and employees of 16 enterprises participating in 2 group collective labor agreements who have been paid salaries, participated in insurance regimes, enjoyed 13th month salary, shift meal support... at high levels.
From there, it creates excitement and enthusiasm for competition in labor, production and business, contributing to increasing labor productivity; at the same time, it limits the movement and competition of labor among enterprises in the same industry, contributing to stabilizing enterprises.
At this conference, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor continued to coordinate with the Provincial Business Association to organize the signing of 2 collective labor agreements for groups of enterprises. Of which, 6 enterprises participated in the signing of the collective labor agreement for the group of wood processing, trading, and import-export; 10 enterprises participated in the signing of the collective labor agreement for the group of construction material trading and production.
The content of the two collective labor agreements of the group of enterprises consists of 3 parts, 13 articles with more favorable contents than the provisions of the law for union members and employees regarding: wages, bonuses, salary increases; employment and job security; working hours, rest hours; occupational safety and hygiene and social insurance; welfare regime; trade union activities.
Mr. Nguyen Tai Minh - Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor - said that after signing the group collective labor agreements, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to direct the grassroots unions to publicize and deploy, and supervise the implementation. At the same time, assign responsibility to the unions at the level directly above the grassroots with enterprises participating in the group collective labor agreements in monitoring, supervising the implementation and periodically reporting the implementation results.
