On July 21, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit continues to organize a program to award scholarships and gifts to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances in remote and isolated areas of the province.
The Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation visited, encouraged and awarded 5 scholarships and 15 sets of English reading and learning markers to students who are children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances at grassroots trade unions in Cam Lo, Dakrong, Khe Sanh and Lao Bao communes. The total program budget is nearly 30 million VND.
Representatives of the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that the activity aims to accompany and share difficulties with union members and workers, and at the same time create conditions for union members' children to have more motivation to study, train, gradually overcome circumstances, and rise up in life.
The program is a practical activity showing the concern of the Trade Union organization and accompanying units for the work of caring for children of union members and workers. Thereby contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing, encouraging students to continue to strive to study and train, towards a better future.
