83 union officials were trained in women's work

Soc Trang - On the afternoon of November 1, the Provincial Federation of Labor held a training conference on professional work for women in 2024.

Attending were 83 officials in charge of female workers at the grassroots level, trade unions under the Provincial Federation of Labor, and trade unions that employ many female workers.

During a session, delegates were informed by Ms. Do Hong Van - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Women's Union of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - about the process of establishment, organization and operation of the Women's Union of the Trade Union. Steps to implement the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" among female union members and employees. Skills in dialogue with employers in activities to care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of female workers. Skills in persuading and mobilizing female workers in women's union activities.

Ms. Trinh Thi Bao Khuyen - Vice President of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor - said that through the training, the aim is to improve knowledge, skills, and professional skills of women's work; propaganda, mobilization and care for the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of female workers in the new situation.
