The above activities took place on March 1, organized by the Trade Union of Pou Hung Vietnam Co., Ltd. in coordination with the Board of Directors of the company and the Duong Minh Chau District Youth Union to celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day and the 1,985th anniversary of Hai Ba Trung Uprising Day.
Attending the program were Ms. Phan Thi Hong Dao, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, President of the Provincial Economic Zone Trade Union, representatives of the Company's Board of Directors, local authorities, and nearly 1,000 union members and workers.
The theme of the culinary competition "Sweet Dishes" is mainly popular folk cakes from the countryside to large cities and towns, but the most concentrated are still in the provinces and cities of the Southwest region. This contest attracted more than 80 participating teams with nearly 100 dishes with typical culinary cultural significance of the Southern region.
On this occasion, the Trade Union of Pou Hung Vietnam Co., Ltd. also launched Ao Dai week, contributing to promoting the image of traditional costumes of Vietnamese people to international friends.
The Trade Union of Pou Hung Vietnam Co., Ltd. also presented 100 gifts (VND 600,000/gift) to female union members and workers in difficult circumstances and good production workers to encourage and motivate their enthusiasm for working, overcoming difficulties to rise up, stabilize their lives, work with peace of mind and contribute to the overall development of the company.
