Speaking at the workshop, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Xuan Hung affirmed that today, in the process of industrialization, modernization and extensive international integration, the role of the Trade Union organization becomes even more important.
"This workshop is a practical activity, demonstrating the proactive, creative and highly responsible spirit of the Trade Union organization in improving the quality of activities, meeting new requirements and tasks.
This is an opportunity to exchange, share experiences, and propose specific solutions to promote the development of union members, the establishment of grassroots trade unions, and the development of the Party in enterprises" - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Xuan Hung emphasized.
According to Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Xuan Hung, to continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness of developing union members, establishing grassroots unions and developing the Party in enterprises, trade unions at all levels need to pay attention to and focus on the following key issues:
First, raise awareness and responsibility of the union staff about the key role of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions. This is not only the task of the Trade Union organization but also the responsibility of the entire political system - from the Party Committee, government to mass organizations.
Second, it is necessary to continue to strongly innovate the approach to businesses and workers. Trade unions at all levels need to be flexible, close to reality, based on the real needs of workers; apply technology, social networks, increase the application of digital technology...
Thirdly, trade unions need to closely coordinate with agencies to promote Party development in enterprises. Developing trade union organizations must be associated with the task of developing the Party.
Fourth, strengthen training and fostering the team of union officials at all levels, especially grassroots union officials - those who directly work in propaganda, mobilization and organization of activities closely associated with union members and workers.
At the workshop, delegates discussed and presented presentations related to solutions to promote Party development in enterprises; Solutions to innovate propaganda and mobilization work to establish grassroots trade unions in enterprises; Solutions to promote the development of union members to improve the effectiveness of grassroots trade union activities to meet the requirements of tasks in the new period.

On this occasion, the program's Organizing Committee also presented gifts and said goodbye to retired union officials and job transfer workers.
