In 2024, 73 collectives were honored to be recognized as agencies, units, and enterprises meeting cultural standards in the periods of 2019 - 2024, 2022 - 2024, 2023 - 2024. According to the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Federation of Labor, trade unions at all levels have coordinated to organize many activities to improve the cultural life of union members and workers.
Outstanding programs include: Propaganda to build a culture of behavior, organizing communication sessions on labor law, corporate culture and prevention of social evils, as well as organizing competitions and club activities.
In 2024, with a support of 500 million VND from Thua Thien Hue province, trade unions at all levels conducted 21 communication sessions and many meaningful activities, attracting the participation of more than 3,000 workers.
Cultural and sports movements are maintained with badminton, football, tennis tournaments and art festivals. In particular, the mid-break exercise movement has become a familiar activity, contributing to improving the health of cadres, civil servants and workers.
In addition to the achieved results, the work of building cultural standards still faces some difficulties because some units have not really paid attention, cultural and sports facilities are limited and work pressure makes workers have little time to participate in activities.
In the coming time, trade unions at all levels in Thua Thien Hue province will continue to promote propaganda, organize emulation movements and coordinate with sectors and authorities to improve the quality of cultural life building activities. Replicating advanced models is also a key task to promote the effectiveness of the movement in the community.
