Hanoi – Currently, Hanoi Trade Unions at all levels continue to provide support to union members whose houses were damaged due to the impact of storm No. 3.

In particular, at the end of October, to share, encourage and support union members' families, the My Duc District Labor Federation visited and presented gifts to 61 union members whose houses were flooded and had their roofs blown off, directly affecting the daily living conditions of the families, with a total amount of nearly 140 million VND. Each gift was worth from 1 to 3 million VND depending on the extent of damage.

Visiting the union members, the leaders of My Duc District Labor Federation encouraged the union members and hoped that the families would overcome difficulties, work with peace of mind, produce labor, and stabilize their lives.

In the spirit of mutual love and support, “Hanoi for the whole country”, the Hanoi City Labor Federation provided support to union members and workers in Lao Cai province affected by storm No. 3 with a total amount of VND 140,000 million. Of which, 100 union members affected by storm No. 3 received VND 1 million in cash each; and 1 Union Shelter worth VND 40 million was provided to union members of Lao Cai province who were facing housing difficulties.

The above support amount was awarded at the experience exchange session between the Hanoi City Labor Federation and the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation also last October.
