These last days of September, the family of Mr. Nguyen Quang Hoa - a worker at Yamaha Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. - is filled with laughter and joy. Because his family has a new house - a house built with the important contribution of the Trade Union organization with the program of supporting the cost of building a Trade Union Shelter.
After receiving the notice from the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union on supporting the Union Shelter in 2024 and the implementation document of the Hanoi Trade Union Tourism One Member State Company Limited - the unit that always accompanies the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union to support the Union Shelter for union members and workers, the Trade Union of Yamaha Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. has deployed it to workers in the Company.
Based on the registration of the Trade Union groups, the Executive Board of the Company's Trade Union organized a selection and on-site survey of the families, then decided to propose the Trade Union of Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones and the Hanoi Trade Union Tourism State-owned One Member Company Limited to support the Trade Union Shelter for the family of Mr. Nguyen Quang Hoa, residing in Huong Trung Quarter, Tan Huong Ward, Pho Yen City, Thai Nguyen Province.
Mr. Hoa is in a difficult situation. The couple's income is just enough to cover the basic living expenses for the whole family and save a little. That's why, although they have long dreamed of having a more solid house so that the whole family doesn't have to endure the rain, wind, and heat every rainy season, it has never been possible.
Now, living in a larger, more spacious house built with support from the Trade Union at all levels, Mr. Hoa's family members are all happy. The project started in February 2024 with a total construction cost of nearly 300 million VND. Of which, the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union supported 1 gift for the family; Hanoi Trade Union Tourism State-owned One Member Co., Ltd. supported 30 million VND; Yamaha Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. Trade Union supported 10 million VND. In addition, there is the money that Mr. Hoa and his wife have saved for many years, borrowed from friends and relatives.
Mr. Hoa was moved to say that during the process of building the house, his family always received attention from the Trade Union at all levels. In particular, the Executive Board of the Trade Union of Yamaha Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. coordinated with the family to design the house, estimate the construction cost and organize supervision during the construction process.
“My family and I are very happy, touched and would like to thank the Trade Union for their attention and support in providing funds for our family to build a spacious, safe and comfortable house. From now on, my wife and I and our family can rest assured during the rainy and stormy season because we have a solid house. We can also work and contribute to the Company with peace of mind,” said Mr. Hoa.
