Immediately after the tragic fire occurred at a wood production workshop in Chuong My ward, implementing the urgent direction of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, Chuong My Ward Trade Union visited and provided financial support to share the pain and help the victim's family soon stabilize the situation.
At the Funeral Home of Chuong My General Hospital, the working delegation deeply expressed condolences for the great loss of 3 families with relatives who died in the fire, and at the same time, encouraged the families of the victims to try to suppress their grief, maintain their health to take care of funeral arrangements for the deceased. Here, Chairman of Chuong My Ward Trade Union Trinh Van Tue handed over the amount of support of 3 million VND/family from the City Labor Federation to 3 families with deceased victims.
Next, at the Le Huu Trac National Institute of Burns - where Mr. Bui Van Do (born in 1986) and Ms. Vu Thi Thao (born in 1987) are being actively treated at the Burn Department - Chairman of Chuong My Ward Trade Union cordially inquired about the health situation, encouraged the spirit of the two brothers and sisters and their families. Chairman of Chuong My Ward Trade Union on behalf of the City Labor Federation presented support for each case of 1 million VND. The entire amount of support was deducted by the City Labor Federation from the social fund mobilization fund contributed by city trade union members.
Activities to visit and support union members, workers and relatives who unfortunately encountered labor accidents show the concern and responsibility of the Trade Union organization, contributing to timely sharing and encouraging union member families to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
Previously, at about 10 am on August 19, a fire suddenly broke out in the paint room area of the carpentry workshop, quickly spreading. About 30 workers were working inside the workshop. The fire caused extremely painful consequences, killing 3 people and currently 2 people with severe burns are being treated at the National Institute of Burns Le Huu Trac.
