Accordingly, the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Kieu Phu commune organize direct dialogues between heads of Party committees and authorities with union members, workers, and laborers in the commune in 2026. This is a practical activity to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 – July 28, 2026).
After implementing the two-level local government model, the labor and employment situation in Kieu Phu commune is basically stable. The commune trade union currently manages 27 grassroots trade unions with 3,156 union members and workers.
Most businesses maintain production, jobs are maintained, average income reaches about 7.6 million VND/person/month; salary, insurance, labor safety and labor relations are basically guaranteed, no strikes or collective labor disputes arise.
Besides the achieved results, the report also clearly pointed out some difficulties such as the income of workers still being affected by price fluctuations, some businesses lacking orders, working conditions at some units still limited, and the quality of dialogue and collective negotiation is not uniform.
Through summarizing opinions from grassroots trade unions, union members and workers sent 15 questions focusing on three key groups of issues including: Life, employment and social welfare; working conditions, occupational safety and health; trade unions and building harmonious labor relations.
At the dialogue, there were 5 opinions and direct recommendations focused on practical issues related to the lives and jobs of workers. Issues of great concern were salaries, bonuses, social insurance, care for material and spiritual life, workers' housing, labor safety, ensuring security and order in the business sector, promoting digital transformation in trade union activities and improving the quality of dialogue at the grassroots level.

The commune leaders directly exchanged and clarified the contents under their authority, and affirmed that they will continue to closely coordinate with the Trade Union organization, businesses and relevant agencies to better care for the lives and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members, workers, and laborers.
Union members and workers need to proactively reflect difficulties and obstacles through the Trade Union organization through official channels; do not let unverified information on social networks negatively impact thoughts, jobs and labor relations.
