With the theme "The spirit of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 is immortal! The glorious youth of the river - the glory of the people - Pride of Hanoi, the Capital's Trade Unions at all levels have widely implemented many activities of propaganda, education on revolutionary traditions, patriotism, arousing the will to rise up and the creative labor spirit among workers, civil servants and laborers.
The Hanoi City Labor Federation was honored to have 105 outstanding cadres, union members, and workers representing more than 626,000 union members and millions of workers and civil servants in the capital attend the solemn national celebration, the parade and parade held at the historic Ba Dinh Square. This is not only a great honor but also a source of pride for the Capital Trade Union, of the team of cadres, union members, workers and civil servants of Hanoi - a pioneering, loyal, creative force, always at the forefront of every patriotic emulation movement.
Honored to be one of 105 people selected to attend the important national event, Mr. Nguyen Minh Son - Chairman of the Trade Union of SWCC Showa Vietnam Co., Ltd. could not hide his emotions: "For the first time, I was able to directly attend the national celebration at the historic Ba Dinh Square. The feeling is truly sacred and proud. I am more and more aware of the value of independence and freedom and more clearly see my responsibility as a leader of the grassroots Trade Union. This is a strong motivation for me to continue to strive more in my work, make efforts for the rights of union members, and accompany businesses to build a progressive, harmonious and sustainable working environment".
A special highlight in the series of commemorative activities is the art program with the theme "Vietnam Trade Union - 96 years of accompanying the nation, following a pioneering mission" organized by the Hanoi City Labor Federation, attracting the participation of over 600 union members and workers. The program is not only an opportunity to review the glorious journey of the Vietnam Trade Union, but also demonstrates the pioneering role, bravery, intelligence and affection of the team of workers and civil servants in the cause of national renewal.
In parallel, the Hanoi City Labor Federation organized the presentation of 80 gifts to workers and civil servants in difficult circumstances, supported 31 Union Shelters for union members facing housing difficulties, demonstrating the practical and humane care and concern of the Capital Trade Union organization.
Thousands of Union Meals organized in industrial parks, export processing zones, enterprises and agencies, units... have become a warm and cohesive space between union officials and workers. This is also an opportunity to listen to the thoughts and aspirations, promptly grasp the ideological situation, life and employment of workers, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
Not only stopping at caring activities, the Capital Trade Union also promotes patriotic emulation movements, notably the Hanoi City Skilled Workers' Competition in 2025, which will be held with 11 competitions. The contest is a useful playground, promoting the movement of vocational training and vocational training, contributing to improving skills for the labor force - a key human resource in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the capital and the country.
The 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 is an opportunity for each cadre, union member, and worker to look back on the heroic history of the nation, affirm their absolute confidence in the leadership of the Party, promote the tradition of patriotism, arouse the desire to contribute, be ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks, contribute to building and firmly defending the Fatherland.
