Hanoi – Currently, the Capital's Trade Union at all levels continues to provide support to union members and workers affected by storm No. 3.

On September 21, Thanh Oai District Labor Federation said that in order to promptly encourage and share the difficulties of union members, workers, and people, Thanh Oai District Labor Federation organized visits, gave gifts, and provided support to union members, workers at affiliated grassroots unions and families of students in the area affected by storm No. 3.

The District Labor Federation supported the families of 3 union members and workers whose houses had collapsed or had their roofs blown off with 7 million VND; coordinated with units to present 53 gifts to union members, workers and people in the district, each gift included 20kg of rice, 1 barrel of water, 1 barrel of instant noodles, cakes and 1 million VND in cash.

In Long Bien district, the District Labor Federation established a team, held a meeting to consider cases affected by storm No. 3 and decided to provide the first round of support to 76 cases of union members and workers at 21 grassroots unions under the District Labor Federation. Of which, 40 cases were supported with 3,000,000 VND, 14 cases were supported with 2,000,000 VND, and 22 cases were supported with 1,000,000 VND. The total funding for the first round of support was 170 million VND.

Implementing the direction of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, the Long Bien District Labor Federation continues to deploy and request grassroots unions to urgently grasp the situation, review and report cases of union members and workers affected by storm No. 3 so that the District Labor Federation can promptly support.
