The Vietnam U21 Women's Volleyball Team will participate in the 2025 U21 World Cup from August 7 to August 17 in Indonesia.
Currently, the team has 12 players including Lai Khanh Huyen, Ngo Thi Bich Hue, Nguyen Phuong Quynh, Dang Thi Hong, Le Nhu Anh, Nguyen Lan Vy, Nguyen Van Ha, Pham Quynh Huong, Pham Thuy Linh, Le Thuy Linh, Bui Thi Anh Thao, Ha Kieu Vy.
In particular, Dang Thi Hong was trusted by the coaching staff and the whole team to be given the captain's armband.
According to the draw results, in this tournament, the U21 Vietnam women's volleyball team is in the same group with the teams U21 Indonesia, U21 Argentina, U21 Serbia, U21 Puerto Rico and U21 Canada.
Before the tournament, coach Nguyen Trong Linh shared: "We were shown video to grasp the expertise of our opponents. All teams have good expertise and strong young players. The U21 Vietnam women's volleyball team will try to compete in each match of the tournament".
Mr. Linh also emphasized: "The coaching staff has reported on professional preparation work to the Vietnam Volleyball Federation. We demand that the team compete with the highest spirit. The team does not focus on performance targets, avoiding pressure on players but will focus with all efforts".
