At the launch, the Hai Phong City Youth Union established a city-level youth volunteer team of 15 members and 114 grassroots youth volunteer teams with a total of more than 2,000 youth union members participating, including high school students, students, and police youth union members.
The teams will support the government and people at the Public Administration Service Centers of communes, wards, and special zones; propagate policies, guidelines, and changes in the management and operation system of local governments at both levels. Youth Union members will also support people and businesses to use online public services at level 3, 4, create electronic identification accounts, scan QR codes, look up and declare records online... Thereby, contributing to improving the quality of public administrative services at the grassroots level when implementing the 2-level local government model.
Previously, from July 1 to 6, the City Youth Union deployed youth volunteer teams to support people at 100% of the Public Administration Service Centers of communes, wards and special zones. After a week of testing, the activities of the youth volunteer teams were recognized and highly appreciated by local people and officials and civil servants.
Launching at the launching ceremony, Hai Phong City Youth Union Secretary Nguyen Thi Thuy emphasized that the organization of the Youth Union to deploy a youth volunteer formation to support the operation of the 2-level local government model and provide online public services at the grassroots level is an important and priority content in the Youth Volunteer Summer Campaign in 2025. Thereby, promoting the pioneering role of young people and students in supporting grassroots authorities in implementing the two-level local government model and digital transformation, creating an environment for training and dedication to the young force.
On this occasion, the leaders of the City Youth Union presented 20 gifts to the volunteer youth teams.
