On October 28, the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress of Quang Tri province took place with the participation of leaders of the Central Government, Military Region 4, leaders and former leaders of the province, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor and 475 typical and advanced examples.
In his opening speech, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phong emphasized that the emulation movement over the past 5 years has spread widely, contributing significantly to economic growth, ensuring social security, maintaining national defense and security and improving people's lives. Many collectives and individuals were awarded medals, emulation flags and certificates of merit from competent authorities.
The Congress also summarized the movement for the period 2020-2025, praised typical examples, and set out tasks for the period 2025-2030, focusing on continuing to innovate emulation content and methods, linking emulation with political tasks, taking the effectiveness of serving people and businesses as a measure.
The provincial leaders called on all levels, sectors, the Front and organizations to promote the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, realizing the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh "Emulation is patriotism", determined to build Quang Tri to develop quickly, sustainably, civilized, modern, livable and dedicated.
The Congress hopes to create new momentum for the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term and contribute to the success of the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
