88 comrades elected to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association for the 2026-2031 term

On the afternoon of June 16, the VIII National Congress of the Vietnam Veterans Association elected the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association for the term 2026-2031.

Attending the Congress were Mr. Nguyen Phi Long - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, and central mass organizations.

In the afternoon working session, the VIII National Congress of the Vietnam Veterans Association (CCB) elected the Executive Committee of the VIII Vietnam Veterans Association; guided and conducted discussions on the draft Report on amending and supplementing the Charter of the VII Association; report on the results of the election of the Central Executive Committee of the VIII Vietnam Veterans Association; the first meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the VIII Association; report on the results of the first meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the VIII Vietnam Veterans Association.

At the Congress, delegates elected the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, term VIII, term 2026-2031, consisting of 88 comrades (1 comrade was short of completion later).

Regarding structure: Leaders of the Central Association: 6 comrades, including: Chairman and 5 Vice Chairmen (including 3 full-time Vice Chairmen and 2 non-full-time Vice Chairmen).

CCB Working Committee, Vietnam Veterans Newspaper, Vietnam Friendship Village: 10 comrades; leaders of CCB Associations of provinces and cities directly under the Central Government: 47 comrades; Chairmen of CCB Associations of agencies of central committees, ministries, and branches (Block 487): 7 comrades; business - entrepreneur block of Vietnamese CCBs: 15 comrades; representative block: 4 comrades (national representatives, Catholic representatives, Buddhist representatives, representatives of Literature and Arts).
