In the atmosphere of the whole country looking towards the election day of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, on March 2nd and 3rd, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province organized a meeting with voters and candidates at constituency No. 1.
At the conference, 5 candidates presented their action programs if elected as National Assembly deputies.

The committed contents focus on participating in law-making, strengthening supervision, reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of the people to the parliament, contributing to perfecting policies and promoting local socio-economic development.
The male candidates include: Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central Agencies; Mr. Nguyen Phuong Dai Nguyen - Head of the Training Department of Tay Nguyen University; Mr. Bui Thanh Toan - Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Dak Lak province.

The two female candidates are Ms. Pham Thi Them - Standing Deputy Head of the Farmers' Affairs Committee (Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province) and Ms. Le Dao An Xuan - Deputy Head of the full-time delegation of the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Lak province.
After listening to the action program, many voters expressed their desire that candidates, if elected, must fulfill their commitments, truly be a bridge between voters and the National Assembly, match words with deeds and be attached to the grassroots level.
The atmosphere of the conference shows the care and careful consideration of voters before making a decision.
Some voters shared their desire to vote for Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc after listening to the action program; others expressed their confidence in the content of Ms. Le Dao An Xuan's commitment. Many other opinions supported the remaining candidates.
Regardless of who they choose, the common point emphasized by many voters is that when elected, delegates need to perform well the tasks assigned by the Party, State and National Assembly; regularly participate in voter contact conferences at the grassroots level; "go with the people, stay with the people" to promptly grasp the legitimate aspirations of the people, thereby fully reflecting them to functional agencies and the National Assembly.
Ms. Nguyen Thi My Le (Dong Luong village, Tuy An Bac commune) said that she has made a choice for herself.
According to her, each vote is not only a right but also a responsibility of citizens, a sending of faith and expectations for the country's development in the next 5 years and longer journeys.
In fact, a National Assembly deputy not only participates in voting on draft laws but also has to analyze policy impacts, question members of the Government, and supervise law enforcement.
The quality of operation of the elected body therefore directly depends on the capacity, bravery and sense of responsibility of each delegate.
In the context of the country preparing to enter a new election, the selection of worthy people cannot be based on feelings, acquaintances or superficial impressions, but needs to be based on complete information, objective assessment of the qualities, abilities and working process of each candidate.
Each ballot therefore carries expectations for a National Assembly that is truly close to the people, understands the people and acts for the common good.
