During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Writers' Association Agency has highly promoted the value of social criticism of writers. Many works and articles by the writers have strongly supported the Party's revolution in streamlining the payroll, merging ministries, departments and branches; merging provinces and removing district levels. The Party Committee and the Executive Committee always have consistency in leading and directing activities, completing a large workload of a political, social and professional organization, contributing significantly to the cause of "Building a comprehensive development of Vietnamese culture and people, towards true - good - beautiful, imbued with national and humanistic spirit" set forth in the Resolution of the Party.
The 2025 - 2030 term is an important period in the cause of defending the Fatherland, building and developing the country in the context of complicated international developments, so the leadership role of the Party with a new strategic mindset and vision will determine the country's fortunes. The Party Committee of the Vietnam Writers' Association will have new changes in Party building work, building the Vietnam Writers' Association with difficult and challenging directions and tasks, but also the responsibility of the writer before the Fatherland and the people.
At the Congress, representatives of the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations appointing to participate in the Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Writers' Association, term 2025-2030. Accordingly, the Party Executive Committee of the Vietnam Writers' Association Agency, term 2025-2030, consists of 3 comrades. Mr. Dao Ba Doan - Deputy Director - Editor-in-Chief of the Writers' Association Publishing House was appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Writers' Association Agency, term 2025-2030.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Ngo Van Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions said that in the past term, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Writers' Association has clearly demonstrated its core political role, comprehensive and close leadership in implementing the political and professional tasks of the Association in the context of the country entering an era of rapid, sustainable development and deep integration. The results achieved are not only the internal achievements of the Association but also a vivid testament to the bravery, intelligence, solidarity and perseverance of the entire Party Committee in maintaining the political and ideological orientation amid the complicated developments of the domestic and international situation.
Recognizing and appreciating the spirit of internal solidarity, close coordination between affiliated Party cells and the unity of will and action of the entire Party Committee of the Vietnam Writers' Association, Mr. Ngo Van Cuong said that this is an important foundation for the Party Committee of the Vietnam Writers' Association to continue to affirm its leadership and leading role in developing the country's literature and art in accordance with the Party's cultural guidelines, especially in the new situation.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations acknowledge the proactiveness and responsibility of the team of writers in accompanying the major policies of the Party, especially in the process of organizing and reorganizing the apparatus, streamlining, effectiveness and efficiency. Many works and articles have clearly represented the voice of artists and intellectuals, contributing to orienting public opinion, strengthening people's trust in the country's comprehensive innovation" - Mr. Ngo Van Cuong emphasized.
To successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the coming term, Mr. Ngo Van Cuong suggested that the Party Committee of the Vietnam Writers' Association Agency should improve leadership capacity, promote the political core role of the Party organization, leaders, cadres and Party members to successfully complete assigned political tasks.
At the same time, continue to organize and effectively implement the policy on restructuring and organizing the apparatus according to Conclusion No. 121 dated January 24, 2025 of the 13th Party Central Committee on summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW; lead and direct the restructuring and consolidation of the Association's apparatus to ensure streamlining, effective and efficient operations, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new period.
Mr. Ngo Van Cuong also suggested that the Party Committee of the Vietnam Writers' Association Agency continue to pay attention to the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting and refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the new situation; focusing on education, management, building a team of cadres and party members with good moral qualities, capacity, expertise and promoting a sense of responsibility in professional activities and in composing, promoting, and performing literary and artistic activities.
With a good tradition, a sense of responsibility, solidarity and creativity, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Writers Association will continue to excellently complete all assigned tasks, worthy of being a strong Party organization in the system of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations, Mr. Ngo Van Cuong affirmed.
