These days, people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces are struggling to cope with the especially heavy floods, causing heavy damage to people and property. In that situation, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the General Secretary promptly and promptly directed the response work; the Government and the Prime Minister issued many urgent telegrams to direct; localities, military and police forces quickly deployed the rescue work.
The Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front would like to send our condolences and share the pain of the families who have lost their loved ones; would like to express our respect and thank the soldiers of the armed forces, rescue teams, and simple people who did not take risks and rushed into the floodwaters to protect the lives and property of the people.
The tradition of "Love others as you love yourself", "Mutual love" in difficult times is always a precious value of the Vietnamese people, aroused, preserved and spread by the Vietnam Fatherland Front through many generations. Every time our people encounter difficulties and hardships, that spirit is multiplied and shines. More than ever, the people of the Central and Central Highlands are in great need of a helping hand, timely encouragement from the people of the whole country and overseas Vietnamese.
With the responsibility, affection and sacred duty of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in gathering the strength of great national unity, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front continues to launch the campaign "All people support people in the Central and Central Highlands to overcome the consequences of floods". We strongly call on compatriots and soldiers nationwide, our compatriots abroad, agencies, organizations, businesses, domestic and foreign philanthropists, foreigners living and working in Vietnam and especially every Vietnamese person in all regions of the Fatherland to promote the tradition of humanity, share and support people in flooded areas to overcome this difficult time; help people have more resources to overcome the consequences, soon stabilize their lives, rebuild production and return to normal life.
Every heart and sharing, no matter how small, are extremely precious. Every contribution, no matter how small or large, contributes to helping people have more confidence, motivation, and conditions to stand up after storms and floods. The Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front pledged that all resources received will be allocated promptly, to the right subjects, to the right addresses, publicly and transparently, ensuring the fastest and most practical reach for the people.
Natural disasters can rob property and destroy villages, but cannot rob humanity, cannot extinguish the sacred fire of solidarity of the Vietnamese people. We believe that, with the thousand-year tradition of kindness and sharing hearts from all over the country, we will together help the people of the Central and Central Highlands to soon overcome difficulties, rebuild their houses and rebuild a new, peaceful life.
