In particular, the Vietnam Fatherland Front plays a core role in gathering, uniting and promoting the strength of national solidarity. This is a combined strength, a solid foundation for building and defending the Fatherland, realizing the goal of "rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, civilization".

Throughout the history of building and defending the country, ethnic minorities have always been closely attached to the Vietnamese people, united, loyal to the Party and the Fatherland, and made important contributions to the common victory of the revolution. In the current period, the role and position of ethnic minorities have been further enhanced in the cause of innovation, integration, sustainable development and national defense. The contributions of ethnic minorities in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland are huge, rich, diverse and comprehensive, including ethnic minorities in the South.

Ethnic minorities are not only the policy beneficiary but are truly active, creative entities and play an increasingly important role in the political system, in socio-economic development, maintaining security - defense and preserving national cultural values. The policies and guidelines of the Party and State have helped the material and spiritual life of ethnic minorities to increase, the strength of national solidarity is promoted, and ethnic minorities have made great contributions to the glorious cause of the Party and the nation.

I am a Khmer ethnic, born and raised in Soc Trang (now Can Tho), where life is still difficult and lacking. But thanks to the deep attention of the Party, the State, all levels and sectors, I and many generations of children of ethnic minorities have been able to study, practice, gain knowledge, and be assigned the responsibility of working, serving the people, and serving the people. I would like to express my respect and gratitude to the Party, State, National Assembly, and Vietnam Fatherland Front!" - delegate Son Phuoc Hoan shared.
