On the morning of July 15, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central organizations visited the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Veterans Association to congratulate on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Youth Volunteer Force (July 15, 1950 - July 15, 2025).
Receiving the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations was Mr. Vu Trong Kim - Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Association.
At the meeting, on behalf of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc sent his congratulations to the Vietnam Volunteer Youth Union.
"The Youth Volunteer Force was founded by Uncle Ho. This is an organization that gathers enthusiastic young people with high fighting spirit, who have greatly contributed to the resistance war against France and the US. The Party, State and people will forever remember and express gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of generations of Vietnamese youth volunteers. The former Youth Volunteer Force is always an example for generations of young people to follow to live and practice, contributing to the country - Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc shared.
On this occasion, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Associations Nguyen Thai Hoc sent his congratulations from Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Associations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to the Vietnam Volunteer Youth Union.
On behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Volunteer Youth Union, Mr. Vu Trong Kim respectfully thanked the leaders of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations for coming to congratulate on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Volunteer Youth Force.
According to Chairman of the Vietnam Volunteer Youth Association Vu Trong Kim, from 2019 to present, the Association has mobilized over 700 billion VND from socialized resources. Thanks to that resource, more than 905,000 gifts of gratitude have been sent, thousands of savings books, gratitude books, medical support packages and household items have reached members in difficult circumstances.
Former youth volunteers are constantly spreading the spirit of self-reliance and overcoming difficulties, through the models "Helping each other to do good business - For the love of comradeship". Small wood workshops, agricultural farms, handicrafts, family restaurants... owned by former youth volunteers have contributed to creating jobs for more than 30,000 workers, many of whom are children of former youth volunteers.
Many former youth volunteers also set shining examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. The emulation movements "Each former youth volunteer does many good things", "Former youth volunteer lives beautifully - lives usefully" are increasingly spreading, becoming a source of inspiration to live beautifully and responsibly in the community.
In recognition of those contributions, in recent times, nearly 1,000 glorious Youth Volunteer Medals have been awarded and posthumously awarded to outstanding collectives and individuals...
Promoting the heroic tradition and good nature over the past 75 years, the former Youth Volunteer force will always uphold the will to be self-reliant, self-reliant, united to help each other, effectively carry out the "comradeship" movement and other meaningful movements and activities, continue to make worthy contributions to the cause of building and defending the socialist Fatherland, forever be shining examples for the younger generation to follow - Chairman of the Youth Volunteer Association Vu Trong Kim affirmed.
