On July 8, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Nghe An province said that Nghe An people living in Hanoi and many benefactors and individuals organized a meaningful charity trip, handing over goods and cash to support people in flooded areas in Ky Son district.
With the initiative of Ms. Nguyen Xuan Huong - representative of My Viet International Group, the volunteer group traveled hundreds of kilometers to Muong tip, Muong Xen, Bac Ly communes - areas in the West of Nghe An that suffered heavy damage due to floods.

Before leaving, the delegation contacted the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, the Fatherland Front of Muong Tap commune, and Economic - Defense Group 4 (Military Region 4) to grasp the situation and identify the correct subjects in need of support. The total number of relief gifts includes 110 million VND in cash and more than 10 tons of essential goods (nearly 300 million VND), such as: clothes, books, cushions, blankets, life jackets, clean water, rice, instant noodles, student desks and chairs, medical supplies, children's bicycles, etc.
In particular, the delegation personally presented the well-used clothes from Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc to the soldiers of the Border Guard Station of Bac Ly commune - as a deep gratitude to the forces that are guarding the border day and night.
Each gift not only carries material value, but is also a warm sharing in difficult times, expressing the spirit of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", connecting Vietnamese hearts towards the people of the Western region of Nghe An.
