On the afternoon of July 27, information from Nghe An Department of Health said that the unit had directed the establishment of a field health station in My Ly commune after the old health station was completely swept away by floodwaters.
Previously, due to the impact of storm No. 3 (Wipha), flash floods destroyed the entire My Ly Commune Health Station, located in the mountainous area of Nghe An province. Immediately afterwards, Nghe An Department of Health established a working group to survey the situation and support the locality to urgently deploy a field health station to promptly serve the medical examination and treatment needs of people in flooded areas.

In the immediate future, the Department has transferred some medicines, essential equipment and basic necessities to My Ly to serve the operation of the new station. This is considered an urgent and practical solution, contributing to ensuring the right to health care for people in difficult conditions.
On this occasion, Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital also donated many essential medical equipment to the battlefield Health Station such as: beds, childcare tables, surgical equipment, computers, printers, Inox carts, headphones, blood pressure measuring devices, etc.
In particular, the hospital also supports an additional power generation system with a solar energy system, helping to ensure the maintenance of professional operations in conditions without grid power.
Currently, Nghe An Health Sector is continuing to mobilize more resources to complete the Field Health Station, serving the medical examination and treatment of people in flood-prone areas.
