Ms. Trinh Thi Minh Thanh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council - attended and directed the conference.
In 5 years of implementing the patriotic emulation movement (2020-2025) and 15 years of implementing the movement "Front cadres follow Uncle Ho's words", the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels have achieved many outstanding results.
Specifically, more than 354,000 Tet gifts worth over VND 220 billion have been mobilized and presented to the poor; mobilized social resources of more than VND 157 billion to support environmental and housing criteria for poor households, near-poor people, and disadvantaged people; received over VND 236 billion to support COVID-19 prevention and control.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels also coordinated to deploy the construction of 4,131 self-managed people's groups for security and order, 57 grassroots security models; forming 521 models for economic development of households and cooperatives, sustainable poverty reduction, building advanced and model new rural areas.
Every year, over 95% of front work committees in residential areas operate strongly; 100% of grassroots-level Fatherland Front achieve the title of strong or excellent strength.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Trinh Thi Minh Thanh affirmed: The results of emulation movements are the joy, happiness and consensus of the people; the bond between the Party's will and the people's hearts, creating strength for Quang Ninh to overcome all challenges.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations in the coming period continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of emulation movements, associated with the goal of socio-economic development, building the Party and the political system; focus on discovering, fostering and replicating advanced models; building a team of frontline cadres, organizations with outstanding ethics, responsibility, and solid capacity.
The conference launched an emulation movement for the 2025-2030 period and a peak emulation period to welcome the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels, term 2025-2030; at the same time, honored and awarded Certificates of Merit to 14 collectives and 49 individuals with outstanding achievements.
