On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27,4747 - July 27, 2025), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Duong Ward coordinated with the Social Policy Bank of Hai Phong City to organize the presentation of gifts to outstanding policy beneficiaries in the area.
At the program, the delegation presented 3 gifts to 3 members of the Veterans Association who are war invalids, sick soldiers and people with meritorious services to the revolution. The gifts are small but contain deep gratitude, demonstrating the nation's morality of "Remembering the source of drinking water", contributing to encouraging and caring for the material and spiritual life of policy families.
Also in the series of gratitude activities, on the morning of July 26, Mr. Pham Van Lap - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City visited and presented gifts to people with meritorious services in Thach Khoi ward. The working group, including leaders of a number of departments and branches of Hai Phong City and Thach Khoi Ward, visited Mr. Pham Van Chien, a 27 part-time war invalid, infected with 41% toxic chemicals, currently residing in Le Quan residential group.
At the visit, Mr. Pham Van Lap kindly visited Mr. Chien's health and life and expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of war invalids, sick soldiers, and martyrs' families in the cause of national liberation.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City hopes that Mr. Pham Van Chien will continue to promote the revolutionary spirit, be a shining example for the younger generation, actively participate in local movements, and contribute to the development of Thach Khoi ward.
