The Kien An Project Management Board held a meeting to deploy the construction of the Dong Quy road and Tran Nho road projects in Phu Lien ward. The Dong Quy road renovation and upgrading project has a total investment of more than 19.85 billion VND. The 1.45 km long road, with a road surface width of about 4.5 m, will be upgraded synchronously with items such as: drainage system, lighting, traffic signs, curbs, weaving ditches, and sidewalks. The project belongs to the group of level III traffic projects.
The project to renovate and upgrade Tran Nho Street has a total investment of 14.5 billion VND. The road is 1.4 km long, including main items, including: renovation and installation of sewers, drainage stations, lighting, signs; installation of curbs, weaving ditches; paving sidewalks; asphalt concrete for road surfaces about 5 - 6m wide.
These two routes currently have no sidewalks on both sides. After renovation and upgrading, the two routes will have sidewalks with width depending on the section. In July, the contractors will start construction.
Previously, the Kien An Project Management Board held a meeting to deploy the construction of the renovation and upgrading project of Dat Do Street in Kien An Ward. The project to renovate and upgrade Dat Do road has a route length of about 443 m, including some main items: renovation and installation of sewers, drainage stations, lighting, signs; installation of curbs, weaving ditches; sidewalks, width of about 2x1m; asphalt concrete paving the road surface is about 5.5 m. The total investment is 4.59 billion VND. The two contractors selected to implement the project include: Kien An Construction and Trading Design Consulting Joint Stock Company; Ngoc Thanh Transport and Construction Trading Company Limited. The project is expected to start construction at the end of July 2025 and be completed in August 2026.
According to the People's Committee of Kien An Ward, the completed project will contribute to ensuring traffic safety and environmental sanitation, gradually synchronizing, changing the appearance, and modernizing the urban area in accordance with the city's policy.
