Many units join hands with people in the provinces to overcome the consequences of storms and floods

On October 22, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee received many supports from units sent to people affected by natural disasters and floods.

Accordingly, on the afternoon of October 22, Ms. Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) received support from Vietnam News Agency (VNA) with nearly 380 million VND sent to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee to send to people affected by natural disasters and floods.

Presenting the donation to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Ms. Vu Viet Trang, Party Committee Secretary, General Director of VNA, said that in response to the call of the Presidium of the VNA Central Committee to support people in areas affected by storms, VNA has launched a widespread fundraising campaign across the industry.

This is the first year that VNA has launched a campaign to support people affected by natural disasters and floods when there is no longer a trade union, so through the agency's Office, the collective of cadres, reporters, editors, and workers of VNA with the spirit of "The healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" have enthusiastically responded, with the desire to promptly support and support people to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives...

The team of editors and reporters of VNA in the areas, despite their families being heavily affected by natural disasters and floods, still did their assigned tasks well, providing "hot" information, reflecting the victims, the difficulties and losses of the people, as well as the efforts of Party committees and authorities at all levels in rescue and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. That demonstrates the sense of responsibility towards the Party, State and people of the team of reporters, editors, technicians and workers of VNA in conveying information, contributing to the effective implementation of the function of providing official information sources and key news lines, affirmed VNA General Director Vu Viet Trang.

Receiving the donation, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice President Ha Thi Nga expressed her sympathy for the cadres, reporters, editors, and workers of VNA who suffered damage in natural disasters and floods, as well as the efforts of the VNA reporter team who had to work in difficult and dangerous conditions; and at the same time, thanked VNA for its noble gestures to the people affected by natural disasters and floods. This is a practical resource, promptly demonstrating the spirit of "Mutual love and support" in times of difficulties and disaster.

According to Ms. Ha Thi Nga, right after organizing the Launching Ceremony to support people affected by storms and floods, in recent days, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has received the attention of the whole society, the participation of many organizations and individuals, creating a positive influence. In addition to receiving support, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has promptly organized support activities from the very first days.

Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga also respectfully thanked VNA for its support in the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in general and the work of supporting people affected by natural disasters and floods in particular; hoping to continue to receive the support and assistance of VNA in the coming time to continue to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and people.

* On the same day, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy received support from the Social Policy Bank of VND1 billion.

Presenting the donation to the Relief Mobilization Committee, Mr. Vuong Van Minh, Deputy General Director of the Social Policy Bank, said that in response to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to mobilize support for people to overcome the damage caused by storms and floods, the collective of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Social Policy Bank have joined hands to donate and support funding with the desire to support people in areas heavily affected by storms and floods to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Receiving the donation from the Social Policy Bank, Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, expressed his gratitude for the noble gesture of the Bank's Board of Directors, the Trade Union, member organizations and all cadres, employees and laborers for contributing valuable resources, helping people to soon overcome difficulties and overcome the consequences of natural disasters; at the same time, affirmed that this is a practical resource, promptly demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love and support" in times of difficulties and disasters.
