On the afternoon of November 16, the first session of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Tri province, term 2025-2030, recorded the participation of 350 delegates.
At the first working session, the Congress consulted and elected 95 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, reaching 100% of the consensus.
Immediately after the first session, the first conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, term I, held a consultation to elect Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang to continue to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
At the conference, 8 members of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee were elected for the 2025-2030 term.
The list includes 8 Vice Chairmen, including Mr. Dao Manh Hung, Le Cong Cuong, Nguyen The Lap, Duong Tan Long, Tran Ngoc Sam, Tran Tien Sy and 2 women: Le Thi My Hien, Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy.
Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang (born in 1976, from Quang Tri province), has a university degree in Civil and Industrial Construction, and a Senior degree in Political Theory.
He has held the following positions: Chairman of Dong Ha City People's Committee, Secretary of Dong Ha City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Council (old). After the merger of Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces, he holds the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. In September 2025, he will hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province.
