Model ward in Ho Chi Minh City responds to the movement "All people join hands to protect the environment

At Phan Dinh Phung Park, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Xuan Hoa ward organized a launching ceremony to respond to the movement "All people join hands to protect the environment, for a green - clean - beautiful Vietnam".

Attending the program was Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

After reading the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Tran Nguyen Phong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Hoa ward announced 5 groups of goals and specific action commitments of the locality in the emulation movement.

In which, 24/24 neighborhoods newly built and renovated green spaces and miniatures at the unit, maintaining typical green space points; 60 agencies, units, schools, religious establishments and businesses built green spaces and green spaces in the campus.

In addition, planting 200 new shade trees in parks, school campuses and offices; launching the great solidarity garden project, great solidarity tree line; painting and drawing 100 ^m2 of wall to create urban landscape highlights; eliminating 100% of garbage accumulation points and environmental pollution points; 20 "You are green - clean - beautiful - safe" projects at 20 schools and youth and children's activity points.

Speaking to direct at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Phat - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Xuan Hoa ward - clearly stated the determination to implement the goal of building a model ward. A clean, beautiful, and safe environment is the first and most important measure of a model ward.

In parallel, there are specific actions of each person. Each cadre, party member, union member, association member must be the pioneers, exemplary in cleaning up right from the family, in the alleys where they reside.

For each household, do not litter indiscriminately, spend 5 minutes each morning to clean the space in front of the house, take care of an extra pot of greenery, and maintain general hygiene.

For business households and businesses, maintain the aesthetics of the business premises, do not encroach on roadsides, and be conscious of classifying and treating waste in accordance with regulations.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Phat requested that the heads of grassroots Party organizations, agencies, and units must bear the highest responsibility for the landscape and environment at their agencies, units, and areas in charge.
