The reason of the times
The history of the Vietnamese revolution has proven the immortal teachings of President Ho Chi Minh Solidarity, unity, great unity/Success, success, great success. From the August Revolution of 1945 to the Dien Bien Phu Victory in 1954, then the Great Spring Victory in 1975 until now, all those brilliant milestones are the crystallization of the strength of great national unity.
It is from the spirit of great national unity, from the strength of the people, from the unity of millions of patriotic Vietnamese people, that a miracle has been created in the history of the nation so that our country can have the foundation, potential, position and international prestige as it is today. From the practical leadership of the revolution, from the renovation process to the present, great national unity has become an endogenous resource, a great strength for our country to overcome all difficulties and challenges, and achieve great achievements.
In the current period, when the country is at the beginning of the new era - the era of national growth, the spirit of great national unity has even more special significance, must be strongly promoted, so that our nation can continue to make miracles, towards realizing the aspiration for strength and prosperity.
In the article "The Power of Solidarity", General Secretary To Lam affirmed: With the strategic vision and leadership of the Party, we are determined to maintain and promote the strength of national great solidarity, considering it a "source", a "red thread", ensuring that all guidelines and policies of the Party and State are thoroughly implemented, consistently, effectively, best meeting all legitimate aspirations of the people.
The article by General Secretary To Lam clearly stated that solidarity is the truth of the times, a consistent strategy of the Party and that is also an inevitable requirement of innovation. General Secretary To Lam affirmed: "Solidarity has been, is and will forever be the invincible strength of the Vietnamese revolution" and "Under the wise leadership of the Party, with the bravery and collective intelligence of the whole nation and the solid tradition of great national unity, the streamlining of the apparatus of the political system; the rearrangement of administrative units and the operation of local governments at both levels will certainly achieve good results, creating a premise to bring the country into a new stage of development as set out in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. The power of solidarity will once again help us overcome all obstacles, turn challenges into opportunities, and bring the country firmly into a new era, an era of prosperity, prosperity, integration and sustainable development for the prosperous and happy life of the people".
The strength of the Front is the strength of the people's hearts
The spirit of "great national unity" continued to be emphasized by General Secretary To Lam in his speech at the first Congress of the Fatherland Front and Central Organizations for the 2025-2030 term.
General Secretary To Lam affirmed a truth throughout the history of the nation: The people are the people. The Front is the most widely gathered place for the masses - workers, farmers, women, the elderly, youth, teenagers, children, veterans; people of all ethnic groups, religions; intellectuals, businessmen, artists; overseas Vietnamese. The strength of the Front is the strength of the people's hearts. The tradition of the Front is solidarity. Solidarity to build the country, protect the country, develop the country; solidarity to stabilize society, improve people's lives, and realize the great goals of the nation".
General Secretary To Lam requested to strengthen and expand the great national unity bloc "no one is left behind". The General Secretary also expressed his hope that "the great national unity bloc will truly be an endless resource for a prosperous, happy, and steadfast Vietnam towards the two 100-year goals set by the Party and awaited by the people".
It can be seen that in the articles and speeches of General Secretary To Lam, great national unity is not only a traditional value, but also a national development strategy in the new era, when Vietnam enters a period of strong transformation towards the goal of "a strong country, prosperity, and happy people". Solidarity is the source of strength, the development strategy, the method of organizing actions. Solidarity is not only to protect the country, but to develop the country.
Solidarity to rise up, develop and create a future
Mr. Nguyen Tuc - Member of the Presidium, Chairman of the Advisory Council on Culture and Society of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) - shared that since its inception, the Communist Party of Vietnam has been steadfast in the path of great national unity, considering it both a goal and a source of decisive strength to successfully carry out the revolutionary cause. The Party always identifies maintaining internal solidarity as the vital principle in Party building work. With its role and responsibility, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has gathered and united more and more classes of people in the great solidarity bloc, contributing to the completion of the revolutionary goals initiated and led by the Party.
Our ancestors have concluded, A tree cannot be left unused/ Three trees clustered together, making the mountain high. And the Vietnam Fatherland Front is clearly promoting the spirit of national unity through its movements and activities. From the grassroots to the Central level, it can be seen that the movements all have the mark of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, such as gratitude, care for people with revolutionary contributions, poverty reduction, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, catastrophes, and floods. The Vietnam Fatherland Front is a place to attract and receive all contributions, demonstrating the spirit of national solidarity and unity of the entire people. Through those movements, there have been very important contributions to the overall achievements of the country with great results. The scale and level of the economy are improved. People's lives have improved significantly both materially and spiritually, said Mr. Nguyen Tuc.
Affirming the spirit of great national unity as an endless resource, a strong endogenous strength of the Vietnamese people, Mr. Nguyen Tuc said that through the articles and speeches of General Secretary To Lam, the strength of great national unity continues to be clearly affirmed, emphasizing the requirements and new development context of the country. In the era of integration, when knowledge, technology and innovation are the driving force for development, people's hearts, trust and consensus are still the root of all success.
When the entire people are united, when all policies are directed towards the people, when all actions come from the people, all difficulties can be overcome, all goals can be achieved.
