In recent times, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has played a good role in listening, gathering, and reflecting people's opinions and recommendations; strengthening social supervision and criticism activities, participating in preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; solidarity and attachment to overseas ethnic groups, religions, and Vietnamese people; calling on and mobilizing domestic and foreign organizations and individuals to accompany the Party and State in helping the poor, providing natural disaster relief, preventing and combating epidemics, contributing to ensuring social security, building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and sustainable poverty reduction.
The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also strengthens close relations and coordination with the Government, departments, ministries, branches, central and local agencies; at the same time, pay attention to personnel work, facilities, application of information technology and operation of the "Digital Front Portal" to receive 24/7 public opinions to digitize the work of the Front, practically implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; carry out the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State in accordance with the direction of the Politburo, the Politburo and the guidance of the Secretaries and Central Ministries.

According to the General Secretary, the successful results of Hanoi City in the recent past are demonstrated through the completion of targets and goals of the Party's and the city's resolutions; the capital's appearance is spacious, the growth of Hanoi City is 1.4 times higher than before; perfecting the organization of the apparatus, arranging the organization of the two-level government to operate effectively, meeting the requirements of the set tasks. On November 7, the 5th Conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, unanimously elected Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central organizations - to join the Central Committee, Presidium, Standing Committee and hold the position of Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, 2024 - 2029. This is the first female Chairwoman in the 95-year history of the formation and development of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai expressed her honor to be elected as President by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure.

Emphasizing that as the successor, with the role and responsibility of being the head of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai expressed her deep gratitude to the previous Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, generations of leaders and cadres of the Front for creating a long tradition, building a solid foundation for the Front's work.
Inheriting and promoting the achieved achievements, President Bui Thi Minh Hoai emphasized that she will make every effort, together with the Standing Committee, the Presidium and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to unite in leadership, promote the role and responsibility of the Front and mass organizations, practically contribute to the cause of great national unity; continue to more clearly affirm the role and position of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new revolutionary period, and comprehensively lead the implementation of the functions and tasks of the Front.
In the immediate future, it is necessary to urgently implement the program and plan to implement the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions, term 2025 - 2030, with the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the Congress; lead and direct the successful organization of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term and the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026 - 2031 term; effectively implement the Front's tasks to participate in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term; preside over and coordinate the collection of comments from all classes of people on draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party; continue to complete the project to reorganize the press agencies, mass organizations of the Party and State according to the assignment of the Ministry of Public Security, perform well the work of the Secretariat, the work of the Politburo, and the work of the People's Committee to protect and protect the rights and interests of all levels.
