From childhood memories to the choice of the heart
When she was a student at the same school as Tay Tuu A Primary School (Hanoi), little student Nguyen Thi Nga was passed on by her teacher to the fire of love for her job and young people. When I took the university entrance exam, all 10 of my wishes were to be a pedagogue, she said, in a proud voice.
After graduating, when asked which class she wanted to teach, the young teacher replied immediately without having to think or consider: "I want to teach grade 1".

For Ms. Nga, the happiness of the teaching profession is very simple - being able to take care of and discipline students from the first letters, being able to listen to and answer the innocent and innocent questions of children. Thats what makes me feel really meaningful, she said with a smile.
She understands that teaching first grade is not only about teaching letters, but also about teaching children how to live and how to be human. First grade teachers must be persistent and meticulous in every small detail, from greeting, sitting and studying to cooking and living. In preschool, children play more, but when they are in primary school, on the contrary, children have to get used to a serious learning discipline, which is the premise for 12 years of high school" - she shared.
The transition from kindergarten to primary school is the most confusing period for children. Some are shy, some are miserable, some cry because they miss home. During this period, students go through many emotional stages, so teachers have to spend more time learning and getting closer to the children.
To do that, there is no need for super-high pedagogical methods, but only need to be with children to encourage and give them a lot of love. The most important thing is to make children feel like a second mother to a teacher. At that time, the children will open their hearts, will boldly tell her what they think and from there, teaching will become much easier" - Ms. Nga shared.
The persistent journey with the special student "every time on the board, it stumbles"
In the young teacher's memory, there is a student that she will never forget. That is a boy with weak eyes, difficulty walking, and every time he is on the board, he easily trips and falls. "In the early days, I cried a lot, almost never leaving the desk. I know I have to do something to help my child" - Ms. Nga recalled.

Since then, every morning Ms. Nga has come earlier than usual to pick up the boy right after leaving her mother's hand. The two teachers and students confided before entering the class together. When she called him up to the table, she gently held his hand and guided him step by step.
During recess, Ms. Nga took the young student's hand and encouraged him to help him take the stairs from the first floor to the fourth floor. She also suggested that parents let her practice riding bicycles - all within the observation and protection of her mother and teacher.
"After finishing first grade, I went to the railing to get up to the floor, confidently read and calculate well. For me, that is the greatest happiness, because I feel like I have truly accompanied my students since the very beginning" - Ms. Nga recounted, her eyes lit up with joy.
As a young teacher, Ms. Nga soon found a way to incorporate technology and artificial intelligence (AI) into her lessons to create excitement for students. She uses ClassDojo software to recognize and reward good, caring students with points.
This application has two-way interaction, helping parents know why their children are praised. Thanks to that, the school and the family coordinated very effectively" - she shared.
For her, technology does not replace the love of teachers, but only makes study hours more lively. On holidays, she organizes STEM activities for students - writing wishes to parents, nurturing trees to understand the value of care.
On the occasion of October 20, her students personally made gifts for their mother, along with QR codes recording wishes prepared by her and her students. For Ms. Nga, "there is a way for children to feel love - both studying and living more beautifully".
No regrets about the chosen profession
Having been attached to the profession for six years and working at four primary schools, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga still believes that, as long as she is dedicated, students and parents will understand the teacher's heart. "Sometimes parents do not understand each other immediately, but by the end of the year, when they see their children improve, they will know that the teacher always accompanies them with sincerity, from which they understand more" - Ms. Nga shared.
Now, many ex-parents still come to her to talk about how to raise their children. Many young students today have grown up and confided that they want to become teachers like Ms. Nga. "I feel happy to have sown in them the first seeds of the teaching profession" - the beauty queen said.
Having won the first prize for excellent teachers at the district level and the city-level experience initiative award, Ms. Nga is currently the professional leader of the first grade.
Teaching in first grade is very hard - Ms. Nga laughed, but it is also the most beautiful place in the teaching profession where every day, I hear the sound of reading, see the beauty in my eyes and I know that I am sowing the first seeds for the future - her eyes lit up with pride and emotion.
Saying goodbye to us, Ms. Nga entered the classroom, the ao dai flaunted in the voice of a child shouting: "Hello, miss". And one day, her "seed-seeding and nurturing" began like that.
Teacher Bui Thi Ngoc Luong, Principal of Tay Tuu A Primary School, commented that Ms. Nga is a young teacher, but always creative and innovative in teaching methods to create excitement for students. In teaching, she enthusiastically coordinated with other teachers, shared experiences, and pioneered in applying technology to teaching.
"For colleagues, Ms. Nga always shares experiences, good lessons and her initiatives for mutual development" - teacher Bui Thi Ngoc Luong said.
