On the evening of November 17, heavy rain continued to appear in many localities, especially in Krong Bong commune (Dak Lak) - one of the heavily flooded low-lying areas, high water levels caused many roads to be cut off and traffic paralyzed.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phap, Chairman of the People's Committee of Krong Bong commune, said that the whole commune has at least 4 isolated villages including villages 27, 28, 29 and 30, with more than 530 households completely cut off.
The local government has mobilized militia, police, and union members to be on duty 24/7, in order to promptly support the people.

That same evening, the rescue team received a report that Mr. Chau Minh Duc (66 years old, village 27) had a high fever and needed to be taken out immediately. Canoes and specialized vehicles were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Taken out of the isolated area, Mr. Duc emotionally said: I am very happy, there is a lot of water in there. I had a fever, luckily the rescue team arrived in time to take me out for treatment.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien - Mr. Duc's wife also shared: "The house has an old couple, it was raining and windy at night, the road was flooded, and the quarantine was very scary. Fortunately, the rescue team arrived."
Thanks to the presence of functional forces, many emergency cases in deeply flooded villages have been supported promptly, ensuring safety for people.
