Ho Chi Minh City donates 8 billion VND to support Nghe An people to overcome floods

Nghe An - Ho Chi Minh City donated 8 billion VND, joining hands to help Nghe An overcome the damage after storm No. 5.

On September 19, the working delegation of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City presented 8 billion VND in support and directly visited and encouraged people in Nghe An affected by storm No. 5.

The delegation was led by Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh - Member of the Standing Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. Along with the support funds, the delegation visited the people of Vinh Loc ward, which suffered heavy damage due to the storm, and gave 60 million VND to help a family repair a severely damaged house.

Receiving the support, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province - expressed his gratitude for the affection and sharing of the cadres and people of Ho Chi Minh City.

He said that Nghe An province is focusing on overcoming the consequences, repairing houses and supporting livelihoods to help people soon stabilize their lives.
